Dinosower was started by Chad "lolyou", a YouTuber and streamer. He got kinda known for doing videos where he hit lots of crazy shots and bhops, kinda similar to phoon (if you don't know who phoon is then you've missed out on one of cs's classics). Unfortunately, his playstyle and personality attracts a specific subset of people: kids who try to imitate and are either too bad to understand how to hit those kinds of shots, or to bad to hit those kinds of shots so they hack to feel like they can hit those kinds of shots.

Pretty much any memey bhopping, trickshotting Youtuber or streamer is scripting, cheating, or making fake frags because it's the only way to maintain a constant flow of wacky plays, that are also crazy enough to get people to watch their content + make them look good. Like that film about an ambulance chaser who starts committing crimes himself, it's pretty much the same gig for frag movie people.

I dunno, he started streaming regularly and hit the same shots he was always hitting, and he has yet to be banned for anything and if he was doing like really obvious scripting i imagine it would be a lot more widely known considering the dinosower groups notoriety.

He's probably still good at it, but some jumps were just impossible without one. The other clips simply come from playing like an idiot and going for cool plays, not necessarily hacks. The new popular streamer that uses a dog FaceRig, theonemanny, blatantly bhop scripts all around his silver level games, so I'm not sure how strictly it's policed anyway.

As for lolyou speedrun bunnyhopping, he uses a script in HL1 that some people use for speedrunning. It's not a super popular category afaik but running with bhop scripts is A Thing for HL1.
