I wanna like this game but everytime I try and play I get insane rollbacks that it's not even fun. And my locals stopped meeting because of how bad SFV gameplay is.

Maybe what you think is footsies and defense are not what they actually are? Or maybe it'll turn out that to achieve your specific goal you'll have to cross some other line? Capcom was fighting for the betterment of fighting games. That's what many of them thought. It sounds good on paper but as everyone now agrees, it's not worth it if you have to sacrifice a lot of anime players for that goal.

His fireball game is great at stopping our advance, he can zone us out with his limbs, and his ex shoulder tackle and head butt make it really hard to keep him in the corner.

It has also been the catalyst of a fun new project, trickin-out the fightstick I purchased to play the thing. So far I've replaced the square joystick gate with an octagonal one. I should have new buttons and a bat-top waiting for me when I get home from work today. I'll post pics when I add the custom art and plexiglass cover I ordered.
