On the real how did you all know about that and how can you check that kind of stuff. I was just honestly caught off guard they did that. Apple is usually, to me, pretty routine with their updates. I want to get a space black link band at some point.

I checked the part number because I was curious and it doesn't look like they'v even given them a /B revision as they normally would when they quietly update a product.

Quick question...my watch (SSBS2) seems to, lately, turning the screen off when I'm in the middle of something. Like I got the Breathe thing, said yes, and then during it kept like going off probably after 3 seconds and I'd have to tap to turn screen back on. Any idea?

I don't know if they've tweaked it at all since then.

I would like real. PM me? Edit: Does anyone know if they've changed the SS black link band from launch? I'm mostly after it for the coating that my Series 2 SSB has. Ass Catchcum fucked around with this message at 19:50 on Jan 11, 2017 |

I'm not aware of any change to the space black link bracelet.

If I'm planning to get a Series 2 for sport, there's no reason to not get a Nike one right? They're the same price.

If you want a Series 2 already, I guess the only reason to not get the Nike version is if you really dislike the proprietary sport band it comes with. Otherwise, it's a Series 2 that gets a couple of unique Nike-branded watch faces and complications.

I was planning to get a smarter band for daily use anyway so Nike it is, thanks! Now to get to a store and see if my tiny wrists suit the 38 or 42 watch.

I finally decided on a series 2 sport, and the 42 fits my tiny wrists perfectly. Battery life is definitely excellent, and I've not banged it into anything yet. I'm definitely a fan.

Tryna get rid of a 42mm gold sport with Apple care and a grip of bands if anyone is interested in something like that.

I've Googled but can't find a solution regarding Mail and my watch. My mail app on watch never consistently updates. I get notifications on my phone just fine but they never come through like on my phone. I get text's and other notifications just fine. Also when I delete emails on my phone, they never disappear off my watch and still show as unread and in the inbox. Even if I swipe down to update. I believe it mainly happens with me gmail account and not my work exchange account but I also get way more emails in that account so it might be why I think that. Anyone else had issues like this? On my watch it's set up to mirror phone mail notifications, so I'm not sure what I'm missing.

I don't know why you would seek to develop the habit of showering with a watch on it makes no sense to me maybe you'd every once in a while you'd forget to take it off or maybe it's a public place where security is a concern but as an every day activity you're planning to do? That's nuts.

That's nuts. I have ADD, have a frequent habit of leaving my home without essentials (keys, wallet, my lunch for work, etc.) and have a tendency to walk out the door without putting the Watch on at least once or twice a week, every week. Habit building and following routine works for me, a friend of mine with similar issues showers with the Watch so that putting on the Watch is the first thing they do in the morning, and I was curious about possibly doing the same despite living in an area with really hard water. I don't really understand the bewilderment here.

Non-goons wash their arms where they've been sweating under their watch the rest of the day.

It'll be fine to shower with. If you're really concerned get Apple care it's cheap and you can abuse your watch for two years.

Take off your goddammed watch when you shower. This is 15-30 minutes of charging that makes it much easier to leave on on the rest of the day

Minor complaint but I wish the watch would automatically handover Activity monitoring to my phone if I've left the watch at home by mistake.

Take the watch off and put it on the floor in front of your bathroom door when you shower, so you can't leave the bathroom without picking it up. No worries about water weirdness then.
