Search for Qisan on Amazon and pick one that you like. Those are probably the least expensive mechanicals that are worth a drat. Just bought my wife one for her new computer and it works great. Yeah, they aren't quite as nice as the European stuff being made but they don't cost 200 dollars either.

Has anyone seen La La Land? I watched it about a week ago and thought it was actually really good, although artsy and didn't really follow the genre of most movies out there...

Hacksaw Ridge was good if you don't go into it expecting much at all from the actual military bits. Basic training is a weird bad rip off of Full Metal Jacket but also funny once or twice, the battle scenes are more reminiscent of 300 due to heavy stylization and no eye for realism, but at the end of the day it tells a decent story about a cool badass who was a real guy and even has a little documentary Band of Brothers interview with him and some bros at the end.

I kinda care most about the story told in hacksaw ridge, not so much about how it's told. I'm basically expecting a decent helping of gravitas and bullshit, but I had never heard about the dude's story and it sounds cool as gently caress.

Was looking at entry level drills and stumbled upon this one and, uh, ordered it BLACK+DECKER BDCDMT120C Matrix drill There's a ton of rad attachments for it I'm researching a bit. Definitely gonna get the saw, maybe sander? and impact Do I really need an impact gun attachment?

Nostalgia4Dogges posted:Was looking at entry level drills and stumbled upon this one and, uh, ordered it If you aren't sue if you need it, then you probably don't. Impact drivers are nice for automotive stuff, but if you need one you would be better served by a cheap air driven one from Harbor Freight. It's your money, but I personally would cancel and consider getting a more traditional drill. Like for $150 or so, you can get a Milwaukee combo pack and you will be more happy with the quality of those tools than that Black and Decker one.

Not sure who bought who, or if Stanley's also in the mix. For years now, a lot of Craftsman power tools have been rebranded B&D. Corporations, right? Also there's a tools thread in the DIY hobbies subforum, but keep in mind they'll probably heap scorn upon Black & Decker. Goons, right? https://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3384038 Combo packs are pretty nice, usually you get a drill, saw, sawzall, flashlight, sometimes an impact driver.
