Add to that that this tournament likely has much more lax rules, if any, considering everyone will die except the winners anyways, and it's the perfect stage for Frost's trickery and power.

I suppose. Like Blaze was saying though, if I were Champa I would be concerned about Frost screwing over the team again after what happened in the U6 vs. U7 Tournament.

Remember that Frost being a space criminal is entirely a Toei invention, and if Toriyama's plans include Frost for the UNIVERSE Survival arc Toei just has to shrug and write around it.

The manga is not the main canon, the anime is. Writing around it would mean loving up continuity, which while it is a very Toei thing to do, it would also be very weird in a series that's constantly reminded us of a bunch of things from the past perfectly. Also we saw Frost is still a fugitive only a few episodes ago.

I really doubt that every single super-strong fighter in every universe is also a totally legitimate above-the-board individual. Hit is a hitman after all. I don't think there's anything to write around if everyone is bringing their strongest.

Strong enough that he didn't get insta killed by super gently caress off Buuhan. It's super hard to say how much stronger he was at the end of the series. He was also the only human who was still training, unlike Krill-master.

Didn't he survive because he dodged it? 18 probably could've done the same thing, but she died sine Buu was actively attacking them up on the lookout. I don't think any of the humans really got to Super Saiyan level, whereas 18 was probably on par with Piccolo fused with Kami.

I hate to break it to you guys, but Krillin and Roshi were always weak to firearms. Goku was shown as immune from his introduction. No matter the training, Launch perforated both Roshi and Krillin because their skin wasn't tough enough.

I mean, to be fair it was Demon Light Murder Gun in the original work, which also wouldn't tell you much about What Piccolo Is (besides a stone cold motherfucker). A lot of the "culture" for dragon ball on the west is like ironic love for the very campy early dubs, which I can appreciate. It pretty much gave us DBZ Abridged, and that's good enough for me.
