And it's not like all of the female anthropomorphs don't share this quality, it's just that the most narratively 'important' ones are portrayed as more conventionally attractive, whereas men conveniently are exempt from this requirement, and indeed get to have a whole movie devoted to their weird, Oedipal body issues.
