JediTalentAgent posted:As dumb as this sounds, I sort of hope WB tosses the guy who plays Robbie Rotten some cash to be a sort of likeable and pompous Plastic Man in the DCCU, even if just a cameo. Sadly he has some nasty kind of cancer, so I'm not sure he'd be up for it. He'd be perfect if he was though

Plastic Man might be the one instance of having a realistic CG human character with the sort of uncanny valley look might actually be acceptable. Have that be part of his gimmick or something, he always has this slight fake look compared to all the live-action actors and it's something that even people in-universe could notice about him. In Civil War he learns that even though his boyfriend argues with him all the time, and has another lover, and hits him, that they love each other really and belong together.

Yeah Suicide Squad needed late-game rope jokes, better action choreography and less weird last-minute editing. It shouldn't have explicitly shown us who the real bad guy was in the first fifteen minutes Dark City style, for instance.

I think showing the Enchantress early is necessary to the object lesson the film is trying to give. For the whole movie, you believe that killing the Enchantress will kill June Moon, which is why Waller doesn't do it. But then at the end, they get rid of her, and it turns out it was fine the whole time. It was all just an excuse for Waller to hoard power, and none of the movie would've happened if she relinquished it.

So, Tim Miller is in early talks to direct a Cameron produced Terminator movie, touted as both a reboot and conclusion for the saga. According to Deadline anyways. http://deadline.com/2017/01/terminator-james-cameron-deadpool-tim-miller-david-ellison-skydance-1201890848/

Eastbound Spider posted:Civil War (just like bvs) would have been better if they banged When they were filming the final fistfight between Bane and Batman in Dark Knight Rises, I forget if it was Hardy or Bale who related this story but they were talking about how mega uncomfortable it was because they were filming in like the middle of summer and during one of the takes they both stopped fighting and like fell into each other's arms teary eyed and just both kept saying "I'm tired I'm so tired" over and over again while embracing each other due to heat exhaustion and I still hate that they didn't put that in the final movie and then just roll credits right after.
