Reminder to millennials that their generation sucks. In the 80s we had toys for Robocop, Rambo, Aliens, Predator, Terminator, etc. And NES games to match. And our PG movies had tits and cursing. I've long held a personal theory that Blade Runner is only highly regarded because nothing else attempted to go for the same sort of visual or musical style. You look at the mass amount of amateur generated material that shares the same sort of dark neon lit future visuals and synth heavy score and I can't help but think if you had two or three halfway decent big films following the same style blade runner would be regarded as hot trash.
