Anyway I'm like 70% sure that Gar is fired this off season and then Matt Llyod is brought in from Orlando

Gar is real tight with Reinsdorf. His wife is best friends with Michael Reinsdorf's wife. This organization doesn't fire their friends.

Much more likely that they trade Jimmy. And if by some moracle they fired Gar, they'd just replace him with another organizational stooge like Randy Brown.

another thing that I don't get is why, when they have quick young guys like Wiggins and Lavine and an excellent rebounder in Towns, they don't run more. Their pace is 24th, which is partially due to having a lovely defense I'm sure, but they could definitely play with a bit more tempo and get easy baskets. I really don't like putting a young team with high flying players in the half court all the time

The Wolves are a pretty good transition team. I mean, not 2012 Miami or anything, but right at league average. But if they don't get transition, they try to move it around to get a mismatch and then score on a KAT or Wiggins ISO. That's a pretty slow half-court look.

Their bench also struggles to score in general so they don't rocket in the half-court.

Interesting. That's what I'm seeing too (in terms of them being a good transition team, and a late shot clock half-court team). Obv Thibs isn't going to do this, but I feel like they should get some more early play clock actions in half-break. When I watch their games it just always seems like a struggle.

I agree. I've been watching him closely because he rules and I think he'd be perfect for the Cavs. Don't they have an open roster spot? I guess it depends how long this hamstring injury will keep him out...?

Melo shoots the Pistons out of the 2004 finals and Lakers win. Kobe never has that incident and never goes to court and never scores 81 points. Karl Malone gets a ring.

I just watched the entire game this morning and the NBA is loving fantastic. Embiid put up those numbers in like 28 minutes. And Harden is the MVP.

I'm watching Hornets - Knicks, and Porzingis had like 14 points in the first quarter, so I checked the boxscore to see how many he'd score in total... 18 points on 8-for-11 shooting. Which was weird until I saw that Melo scored 18 on 8-for-26 (!) from the field. Ugh.

When I die, I hope they say I made the eSports industry a better place than I made millions of dollars.
Parsons still thinking he can light people up on Twitter is the most hilarious thing this season in NBA social media. Like he's making $22m this year and isn't even averaging over 20 minutes per game in the 20 games he has actually played. He's literally the last player in the NBA (or maybe even North American professional sports) who should be trying to talk poo poo on people.

There were 14 40pt/10reb/10ast games 1985-2015. 3 by Jordan, 3 by Lebron, 3 by Bird. 5 players have done it once.

Westbrook did it 6 times 2015/2016.

Harden has done it 5 times in the last 4 weeks.
