It's the other way around, isn't it? The song is the original inspiration for the meme, I thought?

Performance art was better when it was metal lobstermen reciting nonsense poetry instead of people masturbating in public.

There was that weird video doing the rounds on youtube that involved lots of trans-women having sex in the desert while cacti writhed up and down their body. I...am still trying to piece together what exactly the meaning of that was.

Finally I saw this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OS0Tg0IjCp4 in the right mood and "got it". Here's the story on it: she sits and stares at you for a minute. The point is about visual communication and how its actually hard to just silently stare at someone for a minute, I guess. Then the beard guy sits down. He's a former longtime lover she hadnt seen in a while, and it turns into a study on human emotion. Its crazy how much they communicate, too. Really cool poo poo, although maybe you have to be stoned.

After reading through the subforum it seems like a situation ripe with some prime scoody froody It's far too long for anyone to reasonably summarize. But the gist of it is that - a man makes wild claims about the spaceship video game he says he's going to make - nerds lose their mind and throw money at him sight unseen - the guy does not deliver - nerds become angry and demand their money back - man makes even more wild claims about how actually, the game will be even better than he said last time, just need a little more money! - nerds lose their mind and throw money at him sight unseen Rinse and repeat for like five loving years and over a hundred million dollars contributed, with the game still nowhere in sight
