She does the more dramatic stuff fine in something like Bridesmaids but it would have been better to cast someone who wasn't known for comedy.

A Hollywood remake of Erdmann comes off as a bit funny to me as the thing that shocked me most about the film was that about 30% of the dialogue was in English.
