I need more specific information if I'm going to figure out if it's on lpix end or not. Are you getting repeated URLs back? ie. the same ID in the url with different/same filenames. If so, do the missing images get uploaded too just not in the results? Does every image have a unique ID, but the contents are duplicated? I've turned on some more verbose logging on the server temporarily so if anyone sees this happen please paste the full list of which images worked, which didn't, etc.

Hey folks, looking to get some advice on some generic software woes. There are two things I'm hoping to find. 1) A semi-decent font matcher. I'd like to try and match the title font for the Jak & Daxter title screen in order to use that for update headers and such 2) A semi-decent game voice-to-text software that will work with a game input (and maybe how to make that work I guess). Don't know why the early 2000's hated subtitles, but hey, go with the flow.

I'm leaning towards this being on sharex side since the server processes each upload independently while sharex obviously is doing them all together. Even if somehow the images were getting cross-linked and the same image uploaded for two requests, it should still return the same ID but with the original filenames from the incoming request, e.g: https://lpix.org/2541437/image1.jpg, https://lpix.org/2541437/image2.jpg.

I might have found the problem, but it'd be good to confirm by seeing if anyone runs into it now that I've made a fix. If it's broken then this time I'll have better logging to debug with. Try running with multiple file uploads allowed now, and let me know if you see the problem show up again.

been trying to tweak obs to capture as high-res of video as possible, primarily for the let's play of skyrim i've been working on. Watched a tutorial to set the video quality to be as high as possible, recorded, it looked great, and again, youtube completely chunked the final quality, this time even worse than it was before i changed any of the settings. The settings i have currently are Recording: Type :Standard Format: Mp4 Encoder: NVENC h.264 1920x1080 Rate Control: CBR Bitrate: 40000 Keyframe 0 Preset:Default Use two-pass encoding=yes gpu 0 B-Frames 2 Audio: Bitrate 320 Audio sample rate: 48khz (i use a blue yeti mic) Video: Base(canvas Resolution) 1920x1080 output (scaled) 1920x1080 Downscale filter: Lanczos (Sharpened Scaling, 32 samples) Common fps value (60) Advanced Process priority Above Normal Color Format nv12 YUV color space 709 YUV color Range Full Any ideas? The video on my end looks great...but is ruined by the youtubs Edit(Waiting like 20 minutes apparently made it able to be viewed in 1080p, looked a bit better. Trying to do the color corrector thing again, maybe that will brighten it up. its a pain, it looks fine and visible on my screen, and then bleh, upload it and everyone says its too dark to see.) OK this is weird, when I record the this game it looks completely normal. But then I load it up into Avidemux to get screengrabs from it, and it looks like this. Anybody have any idea what this could be about.

Maybe it's a colorspace issue? I've never used Avidemux so I'm just spitballing. If you're willing to try a different program, maybe try AvsPMod for screenshots? You'll need to set a hotkey to save pngs (I recommend the Enter key), but it's not hard and once you have that, all you'll need to do is create a script that loads your video, maybe does some scaling and from there all you have to do is press your png hotkey and then Enter to save your image.

I tried recreating it and messing around with colorspaces and matrix conversions, but I didn't get any result that darkened the video like Dr Pepper's did. FE Original FE YV12 (Rec.601) - This one is the closest to the original, with YV12 doing its normal thing and hating small amounts of reds surrounded by other colors. FE YV12 (Rec.709) - This one is wrong, as it makes greens way off. I tried the PC matrices, but those just make things like greens even more neon. The only thing I can think of that Avidemux is doing is, looking at the blues and greens on your screenshots, it's doing something like slight color correction and/or possibly messing with saturation. It was working up until a few days ago but suddenly it just won't connect with LPix at all. Every file I try hits 100% and then pops this error: Most of them don't top 200kb so it shouldn't be a filesize issue, and I can upload just fine if I do so manually. I'm not very tech savvy, so if there's an alternate program that'll work better I'd be glad to switch. VVV Ah, yeah, that's probably it. Alright. Just started my first test stream in OBS, and...the results weren't so good. I got one of my pals to check on it (since my own computer can't seem to view Twitch streams to save it's life; ever), and while the audio was synced just fine...the video was dropping 80% of it's frames. It was fine in my preview window in OBS, but the actual Broadcast lagged a lot. Is there any way of fixing that aside from just getting a faster internet?

OBS Studio has a button called "Start Recording" right below the usual "Start Streaming" button, if you click that instead you only get a video file instead of (also) streaming. If the recording saved on your own computer is the expected quality and doesn't drop any frames, you can be very sure the problem is with your upload, but if the local recording is also bad, then it's a problem with your encoding settings. You can try testing your connection speed at https://www.speedtest.net although keep in mind that site is so popular that some ISPs specifically optimize connections to that so it's not entirely reliable. The best upload speed test you could make would be if you have access to an FTP server somewhere you can upload a video recording to. Then time the upload, if you can upload it in half the duration of the recording you're definitely good. E.g. if you have recorded 10 minutes of gameplay, you should be able to upload that in 5 minutes, or faster, and if it takes more than 8 minutes to upload you're almost certainly going to have problems.

Yeah, that's actually really bad. I get 19.4 down, 8.93 up and I can stream 960 x 540 at 900 bit rate. We tried 1000, it didn't work too well. With your speeds, I'm gonna say streaming is out of the question.

Hmm...I'm using a router from AT&T. Just looked online for possible upgrade availabilities from their support website...and it doesn't look like anything's available for my street address. I live in a more rural area, fwy. Do any of you know of any service providers that give good up and down for more rural areas?

Right, 211 not showing up is expected - images can only be in one of your gallery, and LPix detects duplicates so it'll just return the URL to the old one. Looking at the logs, it did hit the case I fixed before - when multiple uploads happened simultaneously to a new gallery, there could be a race between one of them creating the gallery and the other trying (and failing) to. All the images showing up in the gallery for you now seems to confirm that it's fixed. Before they'd be uploaded correctly but wouldn't end up in the gallery. I don't see anything else wrong with it now though, it seems like it uploaded all the images and spat out the correct URLs (and that part shouldn't clash). Unless there's something happening outside my code on the server it seems like this URL duplication is maybe a ShareX bug.

Glad to see things are working as intended on the LPix side, at least. Otherwise, looks like limiting to one upload at a time is the safest option. It's still significantly faster than Rightload and doesn't take much longer than multiple uploads.

EDIT 2: We fixed everything up! Turns out my settings had to be way different from my friend's! So I'm having an issue with preparing a live LP with a friend over PC. The idea is as follows: I use Skype to connect to him and share screens so he can see my PC monitor. Using Virtual Audio Cable, he is able to hear the game audio as well as my own voice while I hear him, and on top of that, I use Fraps to record the gameplay and game audio, and Audacity to record my own voice while my friend records his voice on his computer. What my friend has done is set up Virtual Audio Cable like this: In the top left window Stereo Mix is sent to VAC out 1 (another name for Line 1) in which Fraps is told to "record external output" from. In the top middle window Skype's audio (Line 2) is sent to my friend's headphones. You can see on the bottom right that Skype's speaker settings go to Line 2. In the top right window the microphone's output (my friend's Blue Yeti) is sent to Line 3, which is used by Skype as its output so I can hear him when he talks. In the bottom left window, Line 1 (aka VAC out 1) is sent to Line 3: this is what allows me to hear the game audio through Skype as well as my friend. I tried following my friend's setup, but we have some problems. I start all the cables, and when my friend speaks he hears himself echoed, and when I start recording the game on Fraps, whatever he says is picked up by Fraps as well as the game audio. I believe the problem lies in the fact that Stereo Mix, which is what I am using to pick up what the computer "hears" for Fraps, is also picking up what Skype is putting out, and blending it together with him. My friend surmises that because he has a Blue Yeti, which connects via an USB to the computer rather than an audio jack, ignores Stereo Mix because Stereo Mix only picks up audio from the jack. I don't have a Blue Yeti, I only have a boring old microphone that connects to the audio jack. Now, all that leads up to me asking: short of buying a Blue Yeti, how can I set up Virtual Audio Cable to ignore Stereo Mix picking up Skype? That way, my friend's voice won't play back to him, and Fraps won't record his voice over the game audio. EDIT: We are currently testing a two-VAC setup where Line 2 is the default for both recording AND playback. Line 1 goes to Line 2, and Line 2 goes to speakers. Guys, I have an oddly specific problem: I've been using ePSXe for PSX-emulation and was thinking about doing a Star Ocean II LP. Problem is, even after some tinkering the emulator has problems displaying the title screen. Apparently this is an old and unsolved problem not even users of other PSX-emulators could deal with. Are the only solutions to just power through with a nearly black title screen, or should I give up and use my PS3 and a capture card instead? Recording from my PC would be a lot easier than adding more cables to my tiny apartment.

I know, it's just a minor problem. It's just personally frustrating because the game runs perfectly fine on my PS3, but recording from console would mean tons of extra work, spending money, etc. I think I'll do some more test plays on ePSXe to see if there are more serious problems later. (Only tested the first couple minutes on both characters so far, no battles or anything. OK, now I remember there's also the fact that the screen freezes when starting with Claude until he has finished talking, then it resumes with the CGI-cutscene like normal. Odd.) Rena's start is perfectly normal, so far.

Title screen is there, the odd screen freezing effect with Claude's intro is gone and the writing font is a lot smoother and better readable. I think I'll use Xebra from now on.
