Yuki-Onna is currently beating Bat Lady and Dumb Centipede for boss that makes me really mad. I can't figure out how to dodge or block that 5 part 3 way blast icicle thing she does. I got everything else down more or less except that bs charge she does

If you are far enough away, you can dodge and run sideways when she shoots the ice. I have been wanting to try if blinding her prevents her from aiming them. So what's the economy for greens like? Like, I have a +2. I need another +2 to get a +3? So do I have to find another +two +1s as drops before I can get a other +2? Do higher than +1s ever drop?

I got an armor set that has a bunch of % speed bonuses on it and when I tried to switch to something else it felt like I was running through molasses and I hated it. I think I've ruined the game for myself.

Inadvertantly sold my primary weapon for Amrita, then beat Onryoki using my backup, an axe. Probably helped me since it slowed me down and made me be more patient. Definitely had that Souls experience of being out of healing items and beating a boss while one hit away from death, though

Use the lock feature. It's invaluable. Edit: also, don't offer things unless you have 90% of what you need to level up and you're just closing that gap. Disassemble them instead. Edit 2: the amount that ochokos affect drop rate seems.to vary by mission. On Wreathed in Flame, they are .2% each, but in Invitation From the Warrior of the West they are .4% each. People know there's light armor that isn't Red Demon, right? I'm halfway through NG+ and most revenants still wear at least two pieces of it. Even some axe-wielders. I don't loving get it. They're not even using spears or Enko.

I mean where are they supposed to get other light armor, divine drops are super rare even with 10 cups and most people probably aren't grinding out smithing texts. People use red demon because it's a set with a lot of good bonuses and it's easy to get. I killed hundreds and hundreds of revenants before I found all the parts of otani's set

What this game needed was a way to differentiate between light, medium, and heavy armor on bloody graves so you knew what you were getting into, since weapon type doesn't predict it as well as you'd think (as you said, Axe wielders wearing light armor for some reason). I too have entered Red Demon land and I've given up on fighting revenants for new loot.

The lore is that kodama make them, so you can't get them in shops. You do get some base Elixirs every time you pray at a shrine, though, depending on how many kodama you've found in a region, so you can never truly run out.

I found Umi-bozu pretty easy and I wasn't even using the fire guardian, just a few fire amulets or whatever they are called. The tells in phase 1 are super obvious, and phase 2 you can burn him fast enough it barely matters.
