For me, the browser death seems to happen most when people quote the giant gifvs, and the browser tries to load them as separate videos. I blame radium. :shrug:

Yeah, I seem to remember seeing a show that talked about these. It's illuminated by a strobe that flashes at 59Hz, and the rotation is just the right speed in relation to the stobe that it tricks the eyes into seeing all those weird movements.
