I cant find the video for the sony ports of Skyrim running like crap but, Bethesda is real loving lovely with engines and ports. Standard Edition might be a step up from the mess they drop on the Switch in Fall.

I wanted to buy a switch on mar. 3 because I work 50 hours a week and can prob afford it no problem even if the launch games suck. Then I got a homebrew'd neo 3DS and I am honestly very happy with it so I think I'll wait on the Switch. There are so many great games!!!!! And the screens on the new model aren't half as lovely as I remember the OG ones being. Like many, I have also flipped my opinion on this upcoming console competely and look forward to seeing the Switch become the next Vita. The Vita was awesome and I dont even like anime porn, though I enjoy normal anime from time to time, and regular porn all the time

It's possible that Amazon fat fingered the stock they were getting. I'm thinking it's more that Nintendo gave them less than they promised. Since retail switches and Zeldas are going out to journalists, I'm guessing that stock is being sent out to the retailers for distribution to their various stores. Amazon probably got less than they thought they were getting so they had to cancel a bunch of orders. Unless someone heisted the poo poo out of them.

I ordered just the normal version at first. Then someone pointed out that the special edition was 20 dollars off on Amazon, which made it 20 dollars more than the normal edition. I figured that case is worth about 20 bucks plus it comes with a few other things.

I just order standard editions of games from now on, because I just want the game, I don't want to stay up late and jump through hoops and now risk mass cancellation for special editions. The last special edition of a game that I've bought was Dark Souls 3, because I loved the Souls series over the past 5 or 6 years, and really wanted to cap the series off. Now I just have this big rear end box collecting dust atop my bookshelf because there's nowhere else to put it, and a borderline embarrassing knight figurine beneath it doing the same. Game was good, though. Dark Souls>Dark Souls 3>Bloodborne>Demon's Souls>Dark Souls 2

Has there been any word yet on the Switch's functionality as a tablet? I just mean for browsing and YouTube and stuff. I don't own a tablet so it'd be neat if the Switch had Netflix etc. I suppose I'll find out first hand in 8 days. So long as EB Games or Australia Post don't gently caress up (they'll gently caress up). Are post offices in America open on weekends at all? Because they aren't in Australia and it sucks.
