Windows, web browser, Steam, Origin, etc. all running forgotten in the background might take up 4gb, leaving an 8gb system with only 4gb to devote exclusively to a game. 12gb is probably a more accurate suggestion, but you can't buy a pair of 6gb sticks. It's kind of weird after seeing 2-4 gigs be basically the standard for what, ten years? But honestly if you're not running at least 8 in tyool 2017

I got drunk and preordered the deluxe edition, the hardcover strategy guide (why? who knows?) and an Xbox one elite controller (again, why? I already have a 360 wired controller hooked up and another new in the box) Don't preorder games!

For those totally out of touch with the cosplay 'scene' (such a thing exists and is fervent and active) Mass Effect and specifically N7 is the defacto default for "boyfriends of hot cosplay models that don't care about any of this poo poo" so in my experience the hottest DUDES at cons generally ARE wearing N7 gear, lol, because they can all just be "Shepherd" with no effort at all. Have we seen any new Adept powers? I was always disappointing on how much of a crutch I used the pistol as as an adept, I would love to be able to just beat the game using only biotics and shields... I'm hoping we'll have better low level options here.

Nothing that caught my attention but I guess the shield one that lets you reflect back bullets is new? Old powers got some new gimmicks like pull let's you hold objects and enemies to chuck at other enemies.
