IMO, Sara looks much better in the latest material released than at first (though it may be just that I am getting used to her appearance). Boy Ryder still gives a bit of a cringe for some reason (maybe the fact that he looks like a coldplay cover band vocalist I dunno). BUT of course the RPS preview said that the animations are a tad janky in their build, so I look forward for her face going spastic or something when she decides to do a or something (or even better a )

Honestly, to me, the wonky animations are part of the charm of Bioware games, just like how the silly bugs are with Bethesda. That only goes for the kind of wonky that BARONS CYBER SKULL posted, not DA2 Merrill's broken neck kind of wonky though.

The character guide linked in that article was interesting, talked about another Tempest crewmember I'd never heard of before: Suvi Anwar, the Tempest's resident Scottish science officer who openly talks about faith and believing in higher powers. While it doesn't sound like she's a member of any particular Earth religion she's very into science as uncovering the handwork of the divine, which is an interesting mentality for the ship's science officer.

It looks a lot like the nearly 10 year old animations have been reused once again. The "typing in the air over your omni-tool orange glow" in the Nanjiani video was very, very much the old animation. I don't care much about how well the default face for Sara looks, like Shepard she'll get customized anyway. Can't have such a white bread saving yuumanity. The skin colour slider goes far, far to the brown end of the colour spectrum for me in such games. There are too many pink skin protagonist in games where you can't customize anyway.

Twice the budget if you factor in marketing. Without marketing it was around 40 million dollar. With marketing about 80 million.

EA saved in marketing expenses by having a game they have no confidence in, good hedging strategy. $80M seems a lot, you'd think a deal with Porntube would be easy to negotiate, cheaper, and more effective.

Game of Thrones and Walking Dead are both popular enough but GoT they've kind of tried to fold into Dragon Age and zombies are a bit done.
