Horizon Zero Dawn is remarkably excellent. Honestly, the Killzone developers created this game. Unbelievable jump in quality into a vastly different genre.

Good grief the BOTW graphics and FPS dips on wii-u are atrocious. It's not unplayable or anything but drat. Even with the cell shading whatever poo poo they use. Yeah yeah Nintendo graphics blah blah but other wii-u games look legit great on my Samsung ks8000

Honestly new Zelda is maybe a 7-8/10. Goons losing their minds over how amazing it is. A lot of the realism Skyrim whatever aspects like weather/temp affecting you and weapon durability are annoying as gently caress. I guess I prefer a more linear Zelda too. That's disregarding the poo poo graphics and fps Still gonna give it an honest go and maybe it'll pick up idk

They eventually fixed it but that was horrible.

Well-made weapons degraded slowly, crappy Saturday night specials fell apart faster, and if you bothered to throw a few skill points into repair, you could easily keep your weapons in working order with the scavenged parts you found on dudes you killed.

Well you either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain I've been trying to sell my non-pro PS4 bundle forever and some guy asked me if I wanted to trade for a Switch with Zelda. Thought it maybe fell off a truck or something but he had a receipt and everything. He ended up taking a bit of a loss but they're not exactly impossible to find around here so it was about even. Anyways guess I'll see what this thing is all about. I already have 6 hours on the Wii-u, at least I know what to do now. Portable Zelda does sound nice. Keeping my wii-u forever tho

gave my copy of Dirt Rally with my PS4 bundle. Was gonna sell the game with the DLC since I never used it but took it since I knew the guy wouldn't use/care about it It's the pre-order bonus which gets you the loaded mini Cooper and escort mkII and some other random little bits like a unique engineer I guess idk. It's worth it just for the larger hard drive. You'll spend more than that $100 if you ever decide that 500GB isn't enough (because it isn't these days). If you have a PS4 already I don't know that it's worth getting a Pro, but if you're deciding between the two, go with the Pro.

The new zelda is scratching an exploration itch in a way I haven't felt in a really long time. It makes me want to go backpacking and climb mountains the same way reading "The Hobbit" does. Its up there with the first time I explored FFXI with my high school friends, emerged from the vault in fallout 3, or just went out exploring in dayz with friends looking for gear and just enjoying walking around a forest searching abandoned buildings Also out of all the open world games how is zelda the first one to make a decent climbing mechanic?
