Garcon/Goodwin/Kerley with Hoyer throwing to them is already an upgrade from last year. Niners will still suck next season, but at least they're likely to be entertaining for the right reasons. Edit: and it sounds like they're also getting Jusczyk at FB/TE/hybridthing

I thought Branch showed some potential in the games he was in, but that's pretty vague memories, and the fact that we got him to take less money makes me think he's probably worse than I remember him being. D is going to take a big step back this year, I think.

Generally in the past the Seahawks have been quiet on free agency's first week due to the costs involved and seeing how much the people they are using are getting elsewhere. Compensatory picks do make a difference. This year Haushka is the biggest loss, so they probably wont get any good comp picks, as result, Spend the money. Lang would not have been an option in the past 3 years but this year it's fair game, and bring him in.
