It's not very often I care about Sports Festivals in anime, but this one managed it. Also Tohru tail skits will never stop being funny. Also also I like that Elma is prevented from causing any trouble this episode by having too much choice. Oh, and if they do merch for this show I hope there's dragon plushies because dragonKanna is adorable.

Glancing at the manga to see what the fuss is about : I dunno, Irulu's design is bad but her character accomplishes the following: -Introduces conflict about the nature of their relationship between Humans and Dragons which I feel serves as a stepping stone to the hinted at encounter with Tohru's parents. -Pretty much is the only character to successfully knock Kobyashi out of her comfort zone and shatters her usual stoicism which I thought was hilarious.

That's the thing, her character is not entirely terrible since she does serve a story purpose. Esp with being that little devil that tempted Kanna to destroy the office so that Kobayashi would get a day off... Her character design on the other hand serves only one very strange specific purpose  Elma gags were fantastic, Lucoa gags were not horrible. Once more I enjoy this episode of 'Kanna the Animation featuring Gay Moms'.

I really like that the Lucoa gags are getting varied; even if they all boil down to her having big boobs, it's refreshing to see stuff that isn't Shota being scared of her. Am I the only one who kinda wishes Kobayashi hadn't told Kanna she'd be coming? I don't know, I just think the reaction she'd have when she saw her mom in the stands would be adorable. But then again, when is Kanna not adorable?

Maximum over- I was worried that they wouldn't let Kanna and Saikawa's class win as a means of 'you win some you lose some' but I'm very glad they did win And I loved that Kanna's motivation was being praised by Kobayashi gently caress this is a good show.
