Yeah, I read this whole tread through starting in maybe December and caught up with current posts about a week after 14 INCH DICK TURBO left Nebraska for the season. Goddam this poo poo was dope. One of my favorite posts was Mr. Dick, who was in transit from the west coast saying "slow down guys, gently caress, this shits going to be done by the time I get there....." Welp, falser words ain't been spoken very often.... Also, when this gets up and running again, I'll see what I can conjure up to send down to the dick to help the cause.

Glass packs? Used to be, glass packs were cheaper than a stock Chevy muffler, so when you did exhaust work you tended to swap to packs.

I worked on a Mazda 929 years ago (I think it was called a Sentia in the states?) that among other things had a pretty badly rotted out exhaust. I tore a bunch of stuff off, fixed a bunch of stuff, and then drove it out to the parking lot while I waited on parts. All it had was headers, and the noise was enough to bring everyone out of the dealership showroom to see, because it sounded like a drag engine from hell.

Well I finally caught up on this thread after spending several days reading it. Sad I missed it while it was happening but it was still a hell of a ride. Awesome work everyone! And thanks for bringing us on of the best threads on SA in some while. Also glad 14" decided to do the sensible thing and head home for a well earned rest. I was getting scared for a bit he was going to try to drive it to FL with questionable brakes. This thread has really made me want to get out and work on my own projects. If only I wasn't so drat broke and busy all the time. It did get me to finally watch fury road though. Man that was an awesome movie. P.s. 14" how happy was you kitty to see you?
