We brought the entire meal to that place where everyone ate. Most of the patrons were single men who had no place to go for that day. They didn’t forget the meal. Two of those folks helped bring up a beautiful three piece glass and brass entertainment center center. It’s heavy, had to be brought up stairs onto a very low ceiling balcony, AND the banister had to be removed to swing one part around to get it into my home.

One of the men was a carpenter, and he recognized my daughter and I as the ones who brought in Thanksgiving dinner into a bar he was at.

You never know what will drift your way when you cast your bread upon the waters. It returns 7 fold.

I wasn’t charged for the services the carpenter performed for me. He still remembered that meal.

It’s not right to assume the worst with regard to the things people do. Especially when it comes to kids. Anything is possible, including the simple idea that the kid has a beautiful heart.
