You absolutely need to MAG break Ifrit turn 1 and cast Barfira/Barfiraga to stand a chance. And even then he sometimes just goes aoe crazy.

 Praise be to the support class. gently caress bringing a Noctis/Yun friend, Marie all the way. Also, I gave Refia a Flame Shield which solved her survivability problems instantly. (not pictured: the previous turn in which I almost lost when Ifrit killed both Noctis and Marie)

So I do my half price daily pull and get a Zidane. Figuring I would try my luck again I did a ticket pull: Amaranth and a 3* moogle. I go to get smushing and the game says that the daily moogle is the "wrong trust" for my 34% Zidane What The gently caress

Beat ELT just now. Few thoughts. Bring Ling to break. Marie for Barfiraga. D.C. Refia Bushido freedom is required to remove the party fire debuff Olive for DPS I know this is not feasible for most, drat this was hard as poo poo.

Gear up with as much fire resistance as you can and keep that fire debuff of his off your party and barfiraga up. Also have something to block paralyze. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put something on your friend unit to block paralyze if at all possible! And give them Ifrit. You can assign Ifrit to your chosen friend on a different group and it won't interfere with whom you assign Ifrit to on your main team. If I'm running this in iOS, is TM macroing impossible? (It seems to be exclusively android emulators.) I now have 6 zidanes and a noctis from this banner, and I'm wondering if I should fuse them all together to get DW on noctis faster or just run earth shrine a lot manually. Also, thanks to all the generous goons that have friended me!

If you're willing to fuse 5 of them together you only need to get them up to around 16% each first (16 * 5 + 5 *4) which still takes awhile but is a lot less painful than getting one guy from 25% to 100%. Still gonna take awhile manually but that's the fastest route without using trust moogles.

Strike that. Found my niche team for PRO Mercedes CoD Cecil Rain Bartz Friend Olive 1st round: buff that poo poo Warcry Omniveil Focus (for reasons) Undermine Barrage Grapeshot Then I just healed with Cecil and had Rain Leadership then everyone barrages until Olives 3rd turn curb stomps. Got 1.8mil damage...might skip warcry and undermine and use leadership first

I'm still a lowbie compared to you guys, but I pulled an Olive, 2 Cecils, and 2 Zidanes this morning from 12 tickets saved from the last event. I'm real happy with that. I still rely on overpowered goons to even be able to beat Ifrit Pro though. EDIT: Any of you guys ever see this bug before? Every time I go under Friends, if I click Requests the game crashes. Keep in mind the higher we raise Ifrits level, the bigger the bonus multiplier on points. If we can get max him out at 25, then we get 200% increase in points which might allow PRO runs to be able to get everything or close to it.

Alright, yea, putting a Jeweled Ring on Noctis gives Refia bunch of breathing room so...yea, okay, he's got one on now even though he's losing some ATK, MP, & HP. Clearing ELT for 7000-10k points per run is a pretty nice haul.
