Glad somebody else already posted the best forest in magic. There have been a lot of amazing ones on the last few pages, but this is the best. John Avon forests best forests (although that Rebecca Guay one is stellar)

The Esper Cloud Island is an acceptable substitute, and really all the Kamigawa mountains are gorgeous. It's tough singling out a Forest as "the best", though, I'm torn between the above, Onslaught and this Theros one. Alris fucked around with this message at 11:56 on Mar 22, 2017 |

Ravnica mountains and Esper anything are great. No surprise that these come from settings where these things won't looks like they do on earth or the majority of planes. Lifted from Reddit; SCG knows how to make Magic content: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B14QeHCqfzg&t=469s

I think I remember playing shadow and valroz in the first dredgevine deck i tried after troll. It wasn't great but at least you could just throw shadow away to help bring vine back.

Some Numbers posted:Posting an APAC land is cheating. I like using APAC/Euro lands since I've been to those places. There's a funny story involved for some of them so it's a nice way to tell a story. I also got a few packs each of them when they used to be cheap at $60/full set. I'm crazy for having paid that much, but they're apparently more expensive now. Seismic Assault decks are fun, but they're also the exact sort of deck that's fun because it's cheap. People just wouldn't buy it if the price was higher.

I built a RG Splendid Reclamation deck that runs Seismic Assault but I'm scared to take it to FNM because it falls over to any GY hate. That said I have seen a couple Swans decks over the years, I'd be tempted to build SO's "non-budget" version but all the cards that I need are the expensive ones so RIP

I played Assault Loam back before GGT was unbanned. Super fun deck, not so much when people are playing graveyard hate.

Am I too late for landchat? These are the basics I use for my cube: I've been considering changing the Forest. I wanted to represent Mirrodin as it was a key plane, but now that Innistrad has cemented itself as a staple after its return block, I'd go with this: I might also want to slot in a Noah Bradley one too, his BFZ cycle is nice (especially Island, but I doubt I'll ever replace the bowls). I love the unglued art but my god are those frames garbage. I'd like to see them in modern full-art frames, same with snow lands. Unhinged lands are the most aesthetically pleasing overall, in my opinion.

The question is: what basic lands are most likely to put the opponent on tilt? I would argue a mix of white-bordered and black-bordered played in front and facing the opponent.
