Was that the night he beat Sweeney for the Texarkana TV title?

Correct. Also the same night Lince Dorado almost died.

Indeed. They had highlights on one of the Podcast-A-Go-Gos & Alvarez didn't look that bad.

e: here's the first match between Sweeney & Cancer Patient Bryan Alvarez, somehow higher on the card than Cesaro & Austin Aries, amongst others.

Bryan was surprisingly not terrible in the matches I've seen him in.

Hell, even the Battle of the Empire wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, considering how self-admittedly bad Vinny V is.

I have seen alot of the hour McNaylor/Alvarez match. I don't think anyone could call Bryan a bad worker.

The worst I've heard was that Bryan is your average west coast mid-2000s indie worker, which there are like a billion of.

Going by memory:
Lince had a mask vs hair match against Mitch Ryder. Lince did a flip and hosed his neck badly. Ryder had to pull Lince on him for a pin. They were shaving Ryder's head while Lince was being stretchered out. This was a Chikara show, btw.

That depends, with Quack you're sometimes lucky if you get paid. Ask Pinkie Sanchez.

When it comes to public speaking on behalf of whatever company, Adam Cole is second to only John Cena. He's absolutely phenomenal.

I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did. Dave is really candid and talks about a lot of stuff that you might not expect. Definitely with a listen whether or not you listen to Dave regularly.

If he was 10 years younger he'd probably occasionally work the opener for PWG when the person originally booked got injured. That's about the level he was.

I would say he was a bit better than that. Not amazing or anything, which he would admit, but not an embarrassment.

The match I saw of his on YouTube was like 10 minutes of him being in a chin lock then he hit a super kick and a splash and won. At least that's what I remember and it was all good.
