They had highlights on one of the Podcast-A-Go-Gos & Alvarez didn't look that bad. e: here's the first match between Sweeney & Cancer Patient Bryan Alvarez, somehow higher on the card than Cesaro & Austin Aries, amongst others. https://youtu.be/m4VwTZUy_1g?t=9m56s dsriggs fucked around with this message at 20:05 on Mar 22, 2017 |

Bryan was surprisingly not terrible in the matches I've seen him in. Hell, even the Battle of the Empire wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, considering how self-admittedly bad Vinny V is.

The worst I've heard was that Bryan is your average west coast mid-2000s indie worker, which there are like a billion of.

Super No Vacancy posted:whatever happened to lince dorado lol Going by memory: Lince had a mask vs hair match against Mitch Ryder. Lince did a flip and hosed his neck badly. Ryder had to pull Lince on him for a pin. They were shaving Ryder's head while Lince was being stretchered out. This was a Chikara show, btw.

Steve Austin's interview with Adam Cole is really good. Cole did a good one with Alvarez recently too, the dude is interesting to listen to!

When it comes to public speaking on behalf of whatever company, Adam Cole is second to only John Cena. He's absolutely phenomenal.

The match I saw of his on YouTube was like 10 minutes of him being in a chin lock then he hit a super kick and a splash and won. At least that's what I remember and it was all good.
