To be honest, Taker is probably one of the few people who can tell Vince to gently caress off and not lose his job. After all, he had creative control over the Streak from at least Taker-Edge. And Vince might be single-minded about Roman, but he's not so stupid to realise that Orlando would probably literally burn from the nuclear heat Roman going over would cause.
|
# ? Mar 30, 2017 00:54 |
It's pretty much certain this is Takers last mania, so imagine that response to Roman going over, and then multiply it by him retiring him.

I think they're wanting 34 to be Taker's Last Ride, and hence why they pushed Cena into the Miz feud. Cena retiring Taker in the building he lost the streak in just writes itself. And to be honest, if there's one person I think has earned the right, both kayfabe and real, to retire Taker, it's Cena.

Its ridiculous that on the day that Article 50 is triggered, you lot are bickering about Roman Reigns VS the Undertaker. Everyone knows that the biggest travesty is that AJ Styles VS An Actual Wrestler isn't main eventing the loving thing.

There's very little to say about article 50 rn, whereas aj vs Shane and not James Ellsworth is an outrage

So I was listening to the world service as I do and on newshour or something they had this interview with Carne Ross who was a British diplomat in Iraq prior to and in the run up to the war. Long story short he was very close to the weapons inspectors before the drums of war were beating, presenting their findings to the UN etc. as such he knew more than anyone that the British govt was totally lying. anyway, he's an anarchist now and has some interesting things to say. http://www.cornell.edu/video/carne-ross-perpetual-peace-gone-forever-welcome-perpetual-war http://billmoyers.com/content/carne-ross-nine-principles-for-action/ https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2011/feb/15/curveball-wmd-carne-ross

So tories try to brexit. As it proceeds the dream falls apart. Most people realise their vision of brexit won't be realised and may/ the tories are seen to fail. Business, the historical ally of the tories gets uneasy that the country is about to fall apart. Could the above lead to financial interests backing labour? I suppose they would be keen on a "moderate" tory instead ... but if the stench of failure clouded the whole party it might be hard to find someone up to the job ( especially given how many of the big names blew their lead in the last leadership bid)

The financial industry isn't going to get behind anyone who can so much as give a correct definition of socialism. Brexit might cause some hard times and slow growth in the UK, but putting leftists in charge can take whole sectors of the economy out of the profit-making business.
