So if I were to pick up that snake and rob a bank/tomb with it does that count as animal cruelty or assault with a deadly weapon? It might not even be deadly.

If you tried to catch it then it'd just freak out and bite the gently caress out of you, causing itself even worse injuries in the process.

I am just beating the snake with my shoe, relentlessly following it as it slithers away, driving the quills deeper into its skin as my wild blows impact around its head, neck, and body. As I see it begin to enter its burrow, I grab it by the tail and swing it over my head, yelling incoherently as I whirl the animal like some crude medieval weapon. I bring the serpent down into the ground with an axe chopping motion. Stunned, the snake does not react as I close my hands around its throat, I feel the bones break as I wring its neck like a washcloth. Exhausted I turn to my children who had witnessed this ordeal. "kids, I had to put it out of its misery"

My dad put a turtle out of its misery with a .22 rifle when I was a kid. He was covered in blast back. The head opening acted like a confetti cannon for turtle innards.
