I have a local honey dealer and some people that grow (?) their own coffee beans that I get coffee from every now and then. It's a little more expensive than store bought coffee but it's delicious and I like supporting local small businesses where I can.

I'd heard the old wives tale about local honey and poo poo my whole life. HuffPo was just the quickest article I could stumble across. Local honey is delicious and economically helpful to the community, but the overwhelming majority of poo poo out there that proclaims its usefulness for allergies is also the same group of that wants you to buy into holistic healing blindly and not vaccinate your children.
