But I am the one who sends the checks...my parents have given me money to send out, he's given me money to send out, yet she told him she will send him her portion every month over time. Well that is unnecessary and he will then have to transfer the money to my account for ME to mail out. I asked him to tell her to just send it straight to me, especially since he will be living in another state for four months for his job's training and we won't even be at the same address when she sends money, but he got mad at me about it. He told me "Look at my face - I don't give a gently caress about this". I cried and he told me he doesn't care.

Now we are moving. I MYSELF bought a bed for us because he was still in school and I was working full-time and all we had was a twin bed. So I bought a queen bed. I charged it and then paid it off. His mother went to HIM, without me there, and asked if his younger brother can give him some money for OUR bed so we can leave it when we move and just get a new one.

I was SO mad. He didn't even tell me. I found out when he said to his younger brother, "Hey do you mind if we take the bed with us?" I said, "Why would he have to mind? It's not his bed, I paid for it" and my fiance said "Ooooh well my mom asked me a few days ago if he could pay us for it."

I am just LIVID. Only really because she deliberately brings up topics that involve both my fiance and myself WHEN I AM NOT THERE. It's as if she doesn't think I matter, or what I have to say matters. It makes me feel like poo poo.

I was so upset, I got my purse and laptop and left the house for the park and cried. I sat there for two hours crying and trying to focus on reading my book. But I couldn't. My fiance doesn't care that his mother makes me feel this way, and I feel all alone.

tl;dr: Is this all my fault? Am I overreacting? How can I make her care that I am going to be her daughter-in-law and she can't have private conversations with her son about topics that involve me?

Every person I know that is married/engaged but lives with parents has drama. It seems like it's almost impossible for someone to not get the short end of the stick. Just about every one is its own r/relationships story in its own way.

yeah, maybe it's just because both branches of our families are dysfunctional as hell, but living with my parents didn't really work out and living with her parents didn't either. It was fine for a month or two, but eventually we were having screaming matches over the most inane and stupid poo poo imaginable

the money we saved was not worth the loss in privacy and non-stop family drama

This is a silly r/legaladvice post, but if you're ever wondering what NOT to do with something falls in your ear, ramming a q-tip in is numbers 1, 2, and 3 on the list

[TX] Seeking legal advice regarding careless tattoo/piercing shop. (self.legaladvice)

After about ten minutes she instructed me to try to take it out, but I couldn't even feel it with my finger, it had gone too far in. The girl used a spray bottle to sort of flood my ear with what I assume was cold water but was unsuccessful. She called in her mother, who also works there, who tried to make me second guess that it had actually happened.

The mother tried to get it out with the opposite end of a qtip swab but swirling it around in my ear canal and by this time it was starting to hurt a lot. They also tried to use an empty bottle to suction it out but to no avail. She insisted that there was nothing in there but I decided to go to the ER.

The girl said they would pay for my visit to the ER but I didn't receive anything in writing. They confirmed in the ER that it was pushed deep into my ear canal and would require a visit to a specialist.

I don't know if I have any basis for a lawsuit or if it is worth pursuing a lawyer, and they didn't charge me for the visit nor did I have to sign in when I went. I will have to miss work, am $800 in the hole for an ER visit, and I am in an immense amount of discomfort. Any suggestions or thoughts are greatly appreciated!
