I like the Elizabeth thing with the P3 protag, honestly? Because it's stated very bluntly that she's never going to succeed. Even she basically admits it. She just can't let go. Since she's presumably immortal, she's just going to spend the rest of eternity wandering the metaverse or whatever trying to find a solution that doesn't exist. That's pretty heavy.

it sucks that makoto and futaba give up on the 'famous thieves' theme of the personas but maybe it's just preparing you for when everyone's personas evolve and get way more boring thematically

if you want to complain about anything making adachi semi-heroic, complain about the ending of P4 where he's already shown to have a change of heart and help the protagonists.

If I remember right Adachi's arena story is basically "Wow this villain is even more of a whiny dumbass than those guys. I'm gonna have a little fun and kick his rear end" Also all his animations are great and he's fun to play as.
