I remember seeing this late last year, I think it was at the Under Armor game, before he'd enrolled. The other kid apparently stole something from him.

Not that that makes it any better, but if nothing has happened to him by now I doubt it will.

Also who are these idiot friends of these kids that post stuff like this online? I have a friend that worked for Clemson and she tutored one of the football players. She would regularly post snapchats and send people pics of them smoking weed.

I understand if he said that at Liberty or some other school like that (BYU) it might go well, but to do that at Auburn or any other SEC school?

:laffo:

Also by no means should that post be interpreted as supporting him, because gently caress him in general.

Much like with everything else in life, the Euros seem to have more sense on how to do things in a fun atmosphere without sucking the soul out of the event.
BYU's pretty well nothing like Liberty past some cursory cosmetic stuff like the weird rules (curfew, no caffeine, etc). They're certainly not white nationalists, they're a hugely popular religion among Polynesians.

I'm sure people have different experiences but removing the magic underpants part of the Mormons I've known they're all really nice people.

I think we still have two more games left on our original contract with them, so we'll see if those go off as planned. Probably, since they're both in Columbia.

It looks like we dumped the 2019 date because we'd only have six home games if we'd kept it (we have another neutral site game against UNC that year).

Hell yeah. We don't have much, that's why we treasure the moments we do have so dearly.

Let us have this while we can, it's only a matter of time before somebody poaches Stoops and/or the SEC East gets competent again.

I think Mark Stoops is right in that sweet spot of being good enough that you guys would happily hold on to him forever but not good enough that he'll get poached by a more prestigious/better-paying program.

Right up until he wins like 9 games one year then when he fails to replicate that, because you can only sell your soul to the devil once, UK fans will get mad about not being able to meet expectations and fire him.

Exceeding expectations at mediocre or worse programs is a great way to get hired elsewhere or fired at your current job.

Mark Stoops was really close to either getting fired on being on an extremely hot seat prior to an okayish close to the season where they beat exactly one good team so I'd probably pump the breaks a little.

The SEC East is always competent this time of year. poo poo there's probably two or three of them in the top 15 right now. Which is the new hotness that's totally going to be title contender and definitely won't lose 4 or 5 games? Florida?

25. Texas

2016 record: 5-7, 3-6 Big 12
Returning starters: 8 offense, 10 defense, 1 special teams

Key losses: RB D'Onta Foreman, WR Jacorey Warrick, G Kent Perkins, TE Caleb Bluiett, SS Dylan Haines

Outlook: Former Houston coach Tom Herman won't work miracles in his first season in Austin, but the Longhorns will have a chance to finish among the top four teams in the Big 12. Herman won 13 games in his first season as a head coach, and he'll be inheriting more talent at UT. Quarterback Shane Buechele gives Herman a chance to win right away, but the Longhorns will miss 2,000-yard rusher D'Onta Foreman. As many as 10 starters are expected back on defense, and that's where Herman and his staff need to do the most work. UT will get a big early test at USC on Sept. 16, and the Longhorns will play Big 12 road games at Baylor, TCU and West Virginia.
