I'm hoping we get another Persona game in a couple years like 3 > 4 and they use actual good textures. Boy oh boy, are the incidental world detail textures loving gross. Definitely a PS3 port.

He has like seven lines total of interaction with Makoto but I love every single one of them and wish I had gotten way more of their dynamic. I guess part of this is a problem caused by blank slate protagonists, but even if Joker had actual lines, the fact that 97.3% of everyone's screentime is spent bouncing off him and no one else would suck. These games are literally based around the idea that people use a multi-faceted mask to interact with society, so it's weird that they don't let us actually see the different sides of the characters.

The future of SMT seems really sketch if the Persona team is just going off to do their own new thing now. I'd love a SMT revival as much as anybody but among known projects it seems to be just the apocalypse team doing the switch game, and whatever dumpy team they have doing the strange journey remake, I wouldn't expect great volume out of them

I highly doubt they're going to let it fade away. It might be a while before the next big Persona game, but there'll be one and Atlus is going to take it seriously. Now, as for main SMT, I'm pretty sure the Apocalypse team is pretty much the main SMT team these days, so the Switch one is likely the next thing on the horizon. I don't think we're going to get another PS2 spinoffs-galore heyday, unfortunately.
