World in Conflict is a pretty fun one, too. Mostly because you can throw napalm and daisy cutters around

yeah I ain't about to polish my old Starcraft skills and invest in that time sink but I'm down for some used map settings games with GIP. Specifically the Starship Troopers ones or any other fun variation Are people still pumping them out? I assume they will once the HD version comes out?

I'm telling you guys, Steel Division is some good RTS poo poo if you haven't checked it out already. Also, Halo Wars is getting a Steam Release tomorrow. I'll likely grab it since Ensemble made it and it was fun even though I was stuck using a controller to play it.

Rumors of a possible mini snes w 30 games coming out sometime this year. Torn on this - snes was my first system so I'm feeling that nerd nostalgia but I don't really want to buy this one time thing. Nintendy should just unfuck virtual console and then I'll buy one of their systems and drop hundreds on downloads. Yea there is the files option but I'm weird about not doing that

Now they're in Africa.

I downloaded Starcraft and played through the first campaign. It's a lot harder then I remember, but it's probably all because the UI is so outdated. Only 12 units to a control group? jfc how do you get anything done with that

kbm is fine not sure if controller even works trip report: it is fun, we ran through like 4 campaigns, highlights are loving up horribly. If your tech dies you may have to restart the mission since they have to do hacks and maybe welds. Almost none of the upgraded weapons are really worth it but they are still fun like punch mod or flash light. My best map was where we had to escort a nuke, hit a bunch of buttons to get it to go the right way, then when we were putting it into the loading bay I walked onto the loading bay and descended with the nuke. This was death, we freaked out but it didn't end the map, but then the guys had to run back to the other side of the map to escape. I had already welded a bunch of those doors and they had to knock it down or wait for aliens to do it. When they finally get to the exit, this is all timed, one guy doesn't see that the ride isn't there and jumps off of a ramp to his death. The other two have to wait for the plane and board it with about 1 second left.

I feel ya. I did exactly the same thing. Haven't tried wormhole FTL until now, but I think it will tie in nicely with the rabid swarm of angry space bugs empire I just started.

This still counts as purging so the galaxy will loving hate your zerg ways. Hiveminds are thematically cool but Paradox will make them cool gamplay wise.
