I hope Bungie does another launch day event open to the public like they did for the last one. I know a lot of people were disappointed by vanilla Destiny, but that was really cool, and they did pretty good on swag for people considering the massive turnout.

Since you have Crota experience from year 1 I don't see why a group wouldn't take you even if you're sub-390. It should take less than an hour with a competent group.

If you already have at least one sword you skip straight to the resource farming after buying the legendary version from Shaxx and upgrading it to like 280 or whatever. Then you do the special dark blade strike.

Just finished the solar and void this week and that's how it worked for me at least. I think if it's your first sword everything is the same as it used to be.

This is my second, but I farmed the first on a separate character. That's probably what's going on.
