So I just started route B, and headed to the resistance camp, and... Were those NPCs in the background there also present the first time you go there in route A as well? If so, wowzers.

"Just wait" doesn't really mean anything if he's finished Route A.

Yeah after the original Nier there's no way I'm going to believe "oh those are just some background NPCs in this game and give me a quest item", I was just curious if they were always there. Means as I go through route B I'll wonder what else I missed that was there all along in route A as well. Hopefully not much.

DLC Spoiler stuff Is the black scrawl tank the only shade related thing? I heard there was a whole new enemy type and I can't get past the thing. Wasn't quite what I was hoping for either despite the amazing hack space.

Why won't these guys stay dead?! They just kept respawning several times over. I hoped it was just something scripted I had to fight through.

Definitely on purpose. There's more than one spot like that, and if you want to grind levels or materials, you'll be happy to know where they are.

It's on purpose, so just haul rear end when you're fed up.

I also wish it had an in-game move list

Yeah, not having an in-game list does suck a bit. But I made one out of game that you can look at, at least! Here's what 2B can do. And here's 9S. And A2.

So is there anything notable about the red girls appearing in cutscenes for brief moments in route B? Like so. It was odd and a little creepy but I'm not sure what it was supposed to mean really.

It's something to kinda sorta foreshadow (C/D spoiler) how much the machines have already won and are just watching the androids to spur their own evolution. The red girls are avatars of the greater machine intelligence.

Hmm, was the bunker infiltrated around the time that 9S was unconscious after the gigantic Machine attacked?

I assume suspending the sync protected 2B from whatever follow up payload so she didn't turn as fast but 9S was definitely too late.
