Thanks to this thread I couldn't stop thinking of "chabuduo" or "no why" the whole time. He gives them far to much credit. Yeah, sure they cranked out some shapes and would do better than some rando you pick today. But even of they couldn't assemble something they would know how and why something was done like not putting a bayonet plug on a pistol or have functional sights. I would be far most impressed if they did manage to actually copy the original instead of doing the gun equivalent of slapping Lui Vitton on whatever random poo poo you could find. I wouldn't dare to shoot them as I would expect Nabu like performance. simplefish posted:Pull a sickie, the doc will still prescribe you like 7 packets of pills and the opiate syrup without bkinking twice I am pretty sure some of the meds I took as a kid had meth or meth like substance in it as it worked very well. I actually still have some from that time period in a cupboard somewhere. I never understood the whole anti-Opium thing as at that time it was the closest thing they had to real medication that worked that was affordable. What went wrong was when the British stop being suppliers meeting demand to becoming pushers forcing more product into the market causing a self growing group of addicts to balance out the trade deficit. But China wasn't interested in importing anything else from the Brits. Pohibition was a disaster as they had nothing to replace this with or were interested in mostly in cutting heads off, so ehh. simplefish posted:Topic change I know but im in the hk central business district and i just passed an overweight man in his 40s with stubbke wearing a full, pressed, japanese sailorette/schoolgirl outfit, replete with kneesocks and pleated skirt

I showed this to Chaoshan girl, and inspired by my horrible experience with salvia, she immediately wanted to buy it. She contacted the people in the link above for the acacia confusa and they immediately asked if she wanted to skip the puking and get straight to point, and said they can sell her pure DMT. I told her to tell them no, so they instead gave her advice that she needs to put her mind in a "sunshine place" before drinking. Trust the online dosage. Aya would be tough for a first timer. Get San Pedro instead if your going to follow through on this terrible idea, it's a much easier experience. But post a trip report if you do.

Writing a list of example sentences--had to remove a reference to a student being expelled for cheating. I was basically told, "Students won't understand this sentence because you don't get expelled for cheating here."

Tell whoever it is that the students should be able to examine the meaning of a sentence regardless of whether it applies to them.

One compromise the other staffer suggested was making the sentence something like "In America, university students who are caught cheating are often expelled" because specifying that it happened in America was acceptable. I was also asked to change one that was like "Whoever is elected to replace Park will serve until the next election in 2022" because the other editor thought it was too likely they would "be impeached or commit suicide. It happens very often in Korea."

ok ive decided its scarier having a minibus driver who knows how to drive than one who doesnt This guy is revmatching shifts so he doesnt have to use his clutch and downshifting late for roundabouts so that he carries speed in, doesn't have to touch the brakes, and has the torque to accelerate out. Guy is maintaining speed where although I trust him, I don't trust his tyres to hold the line.

I once rode in a taxi where the driver was tailgating trucks so close the front end of the car was actually underneath the rear end of the truck at least 3 times. He passed every single vehicle on that road. There was also a minibus where the driver started falling asleep. I was the only passenger who noticed, so I had to keep him awake.

Monday morning taxis in HK can be downright dangerous. I've been in a couple where the driver was falling asleep and swerving halfway out of his lane in rush hour traffic, probably came off the back of an all-nighter

My scariest time in a car here was when my girlfriends friend was driving at about 10mph on a busy highway, playing on her phone and only occasionally glancing at the road whilst swerving across all 4 lanes randomly.

Not to perpetuate stereotypes with a sample of 1, but i was in a gold mini cooper with a girl who had borrowed it from her friend (because she'd crashed her pink mini cabriolet) and she got lost snd we swerved onto several offramps then back across the hashes into the path of something far bigger than us several times while she was trying to use maps on her phone. I actually offered to drive despite not being insured, something I only did once before when a girl I was with spun us 180 degrees in the snow into oncoming traffic (not in HK) Hm. Sample size of 2 I guess. Both had only recently passed their tests. simplefish fucked around with this message at 16:13 on May 5, 2017 |

One Weird Trick to pretend like something everyone sees daily and the entire world is fully aware of isn't happening instead of addressing the problem (which is not that hard to deal with and many other countries managed it decades ago so we know what to do). That's a long headline.

I watched Hamilton Morris, VICE's chemistry/drug expert, take ayahuasca in one of his documentaries and he brewed the ingredients separately and drank the two brews one after the other. The process was sip, gag, sip, gag, etc. It was apparently very difficult to even get down. You really should have gotten the pure DMT and smoked it out of a glass pipe. You could even just hit it off of some tin foil like freebasing heroin if you wanna ghetto-MacGuyver it. The trip is only 15 minutes when smoked, which is a lot less commitment plus no vomiting. Drinking ayahuasca is going to make Chaoshan girl puke her guts out and then trip balls for five hours.

DMT in high doses is really not recommended as a first psychedelic, esp in ayahuasca form because you are guaranteed to both puke and poo poo your guts out with a good chance of crippling abdominal pain. On the other hand it's a fun experience generally if you are a person who can handle your poo poo. It is indeed one of the most disgusting things you will ever drink and if you puke too soon you'll ruin the trip I would also highly recommend just buying the pure dmt and smoking if its an option here Tolkien minority fucked around with this message at 19:33 on May 5, 2017 |

Scary driving story? Scary driving story Our school had a partnership with a slovak school. Some time in the mid 90s we met up with our partner class over there and they took us to the lower tatra for a couple of days. Their teacher had the back of the bus reserved for a couple of crates of beer. Not for himself, but for everybody - the students. We were 15 back then lol. Anyway, the driver of that bus was boozed up, me and a dude sat right in the front, so we could see what he was doing. Right next to the gearshift he had half a bottle of slivovic that he would take a sips out of every now and then. He winked at us and went bottoms up. I was sure we'd end up a smoking wreck in one of the ravines. The dude kept overtaking all sorts of things uphill on that winding road with oncoming traffic, horsecarts, tractors, village idiots on bikes with their asses hanging out. Those maneuvers were impossible. He'd try to overtake, but since the bus was so loaded and we'd go uphill, it was barely able to go faster than whatever was ahead. God knows why, but he'd try to do that in curves, when there was no way of telling what might come up. It was pure chance that we arrived in one piece. When we arrived, we helped to carry out the crates of beer. It was the best beer. Before we went back, we bought so many packets of cigarettes, what amounted to a 2 months salary of a teacher over there. The lady in that booth though she misheard lol. We'd have been so hosed if they checked the baggage at the border. The mid 90s in eastern europe. A special place and a very special time.
