one leg day. ive been doing starting strength for like five months so im basically an expert. any fewer than 3 leg days a week means you are a loving bitch boy whose jeans probably fit well.

I trained shoulders at lower intensity-higher volume this morning and apart from one rep at 55 my elbows did not hurt. Now I just need to figure out a back day that isn't reliant on grip.

I used straps for the first time in the workout I mentioned before by the way, and it was a revelation. gently caress, I'm not going to compete in anything, and I have a juicer so I don't need the grip strength to crush fruits with my bare hands, so why not use straps for my work sets and lift heavy rear end weight?

I play my guitars after I get home from the gym, so when I finally looked at straps after never ever using them I just splurged on Versa Grips because they looked like they would be a hell of alot more comfy for my baby wrists. Apparently strap snobs think they are silly, but they have been amazing and provide excellent grip. Really quick to set up on the bar for deadlifts or whatever too.

I don't own any versa grips nor care to buy any but they are really good but they sort of wear a tiny bit faster than straps do. They are way better than straps though. gently caress a hater.

This one guy who has been going to my gym for 5+ years gave me a super smug look when he saw me putting them on, but I have a really good physique whereas he has been frogteching like crazy all this time lol. He has cheap straps, but I've never once seen him squat or deadlift so I guess they only get used for rows on a machine. So fat he probably can't balance in a squat
