I want to present another side to the negative comments and I acknowledge that there are losers in the Sydney property market, but it seems to me the city is transforming into the international city it always had the potential to be. It's like the whole place is being rebuilt, and not just by developers - the entire inner ring of suburbs is being renovated and the western suburbs are booming too and finally being recognised as among the most multicultural and interesting areas in Australia. Not to mention the CBD, the new transport systems, the gazillions in new investments announced weekly, Barangaroo, George St, Circular Quay, two new major art galleries on the horizon, and all set around a stunning harbour... Melbourne had better culture for now but Sydney is the awakening giant of Australian cities. Prices are high because people want to be a part of it. It's exciting to be here if you can afford it.

That pic is a screenshot of what Ludlam was replying to so they do kind of go together. NSWPol deleted the tweet though because it's ok to hide evidence if you're a cop.

Many parents want their children to be educated in non-government schools to learn the morality and scripture of their faith. The alternative is becoming less appealing as Labor state governments introduce radical sexual and social programming in public schools and preschools. Liberal and Labor conservatives joined forces to push back against the radical Queer Safe Schools program that enjoyed the support of La Trobe University and Victoria’s socialist Labor government. While Shorten opposes the Gonski reform plan endorsed by Turnbull, it is unlikely that the ALP will attract many rationalists and conservatives while the content of its school curriculum is so destructive. *checks notes*

I'd argue 99% of parents send their kids to lower and mid level private schools on the presumption they'll receive a better education. The high level ones I assume to would definitely be the case.

I'm not sure anyone who has ever self-described as a 'rationalist' would want their children to get a faith-based education in scripture.
