I watch Marvel movies, they're pretty fun. And I've been enjoying watching a high school friend of mine who does CG work go from one of a sea of names at the bottom up to being one of the major team leads with his name in large text, so good for him.

Heretical opinion here, but I think the vast majority of superhero movies and shows are bland as gently caress. I wind up incidentally watching them because my roommates marathons every one of them in Netflix, and I've gotta say... they're all exactly the same. Guardians, though, is pretty rad. I loved the first one for being a breath of fresh air. I just saw the second one yesterday, and while it didn't have the same magic as the first, it was still a good time.
