Apparently Swedish media is claiming Toronto's signed Phillip Holm (who also plays in the Swedish Elite Legaue). His numbers seem good but who knows if it'll translate or not. Can't help but wonder if the Leafs didn't grab Borgman too, with the idea of them looking at the UFA crop and thinking "None of these guys are what we want or need right now.." and deciding to go outside the NHL to help their D corps. This could just be a rumor or someone's good idea to poach Russian NHL talent back to the KHL.
