Yeah, the thing is that the "SA yearbook" wasn't even supposed to be a dating site, just a social media site where you could comment other people's profile pictures and vote on whose comments were the funniest. The entire site was a saga in itself. On the height of its popularity, I think Lowtax tried to buy it and merge it into the SA profile system, since there obviously was some demand for inter-goon SoMe-functionality, but the creators declined the offer.

She was my first real goon friend from way back and towards the end I lost track of her. Spanish Manlove (I think) was kind enough to track down her cancer thread for me and also give her a nice memorial avatar (after he jokingly gave her a permadead one). He's a nice guy that Spanish Manlove, I hope I thanked him enough for the closure.

I didn't know about the blog and had one of the admins provide me her name and then googled it and in reference to obituaries, which eventually found confirmation. I don't really remember much else, but I just want to clarify that the permadead AV wasn't a joke and also wasn't my idea, and I agreed with people that it was horrible and tacky.
