Man, I missed the word "bonuses" and thought that card was cool. Giving X-Wings shots at Range 4 would be really interesting.

The problem is that it only effects Wedge, Wes, and Luke, who don't necessarily need the help as much as every other X-Wing pilot except Biggs. It'd make them super-good, sure, but that shouldn't be the be-all, end-all of an X-Wing buff. This would seem to be illegal according to the obstacle rules as written, which direct that I drop the maneuver to a 3-speed bank left or right (whichever is closer to the target and the highest speed bank available on a TIE Fighter dial) fulfilling the 45 degree change in direction. I just want to make sure that swerves to avoid collisions are always a change to banks and never just a drop in the speed of a straight-ahead maneuver if that's what they originally rolled. Because negative tokens your opponent spends is a mechanic from the new Runewars mini games and designers tend to look for inspiration close to home. Edit: I guess Latts crew already is kinda this

If you're not married to R5-P8, I would replace K4 with RecSpec and R4 Aggromech. This combo can potentially - after the first exchange with a target - have a target lock and focus in both his attack and the eventual extra attack. Having 2 focus is also pretty decent for defense. If you're not married to Mindlinks either, I would put Marksmanship on Bossk. With the spare points you could try to squeeze in PTL on Dengar maybe. Or you could replace him and 4-Lom with Zuckus and Inspiring Recruit, allowing you to reroll two green dice every round as long as you do a green afterwards, which you'd want to do in any case.

And would you look at that, the store champs I went to last weekend wasn't supposed to include it as part of SC. I'm thinking the store champs this weekend are planning to give them out then as well. One of the models has big slots at the bottom and one only has small slots. Call up your local outdoors store (like Bass Pro) and ask them. Or just go and look; all these are on the shelves.

I like that the first comment is that the card should actually be costed at zero points. It helps that it's only for Luke in the T-65, but yeah it's, uh, powerful.

I could see ti getting used occasionally, but mostly yeah, it's a cool combo but x-wings are so rare and most of the ones that take R2D2 want a different mod.
