Someone they interviewed now works to help people get out of MLMs. I feel like that is a market ripe for disruption, perhaps a multi-level organization specializing in helping people get out of MLMs. Can't be too good though, otherwise you'll break yourself!

I thought you were being facetious because it is an empty and meaningless statement being used by John Smith to pat himself on the back for clearly possessing the skills of a great leader/being familiar with the core attributes of a good leader. His posting gimmick is literally "look at how much of a badass I am," we're all quite familiar with his physical abilities in this thread In reality it doesn't mean anything without context, people who eat up the business rhetoric six sigma bullshit love vague generic sayings as much as blogging mommies do. One of my hobbies is trying to get them to define exactly what they mean within the context of our conversation whenever they push their smarmy "entrepreneur" bullshit into specific convos at public gatherings. They usually just spit out even more vague and meaningless junk to try and save face without actually contributing to what we were talking about at all, and there's always an idiot or two that they manage to woo. Loosely related but trying to "business talk" potential clients or collaborators that are smarter than you is bwm. If you're gonna try to talk to me or butt into my convos uninvited and unsolicited, you have to actually say something.

Life is not as complicated as people make it out to be as long as you’re not lazy. Life is actually very simple. We are always mentally at either peace or war. You show love to your friends in peace and anger to your enemies in war. That’s it. Peace or War.

A mild BWM story: A coworker of ours is not great with money. They have car payments, student loans, 2 kids in various activities (not necessarily BWM), bought a new $$$ puppy, get breakfast or lunch out every day, blah blah blah. I've heard more than once their outgoing bills are more than they make, which is probably around ~80-90k gross a year. Well, this year with their tax return, instead of paying off some bills or fixing their house that is in bad shape, they take their kids to disney for ~$5k. They almost weren't able to go, because their "tax guy" screwed up their tax return and the SSN check for their dependants weren't valid, or claimed by someone else, or something. So their return was half and I think they had to borrow the money for Disney from one of their parents before they could file an amended return and get the rest of the refund or whatever. Today we have open enrollment at work since our benefit period restarts in July, and the people that are here are basically trying to get you to buy-up various insurance packages. Well, good ol BMW co-worker falls for the whole life insurance because she "doesn't want the kid's to have to worry about funeral costs". These people aren't even loving 40 years old yet and don't have terminal illnesses. You mean to tell me they don't plan on having the equivalent of ~$10k in today's dollars squirreled away by the time they're old enough to die? They have been through Financial Peace University through their church and I'm pretty sure whole life is a big no-no even in that class. I feel bad for the kids, because this Disney trip was a complete surprise and the first thing the older daughter said was "I thought we didn't have any money" (this was livestreamed on facebook of course), so this ~6 year old kid is already living with financial anxiety. I was kind of the same way, I don't think my parents complained about money, I think I just picked up on it myself and it made me financially anxious. Luckily I think I just turned out to be a saver. Not to make this political, but they're about as conservative (one of them a proud racist) as they come, how are they expecting to live when they're old? God drat big gubment robbin' our money for social security and letting the welfare queens live off us hard workin' folk rabble rabble rabble.
