I've been looking forward to this game since it was announced and it's crazy to think it's just days away from release. I watched some twitch streams on it when it was in a public beta phase a few months back and as fun as it looked there were some things about it that looked janky as hell and unfinished. I haven't seen anything recent on it though and I'm probably going to still get it either way but I'm just wondering if much of anything has been improved since then or is it generally still the same game?

I can't decide which Jason I want to use as my "main" Jason. This has nothing to do with actual gameplay of course, and everything to do with which Jason from the movies is my favorite. I like baghead Jason from Part 2, but then I really am not a huge fan of hockey mask Jason until he went full zombie in Part 6. Gothic Super-Jason is probably the best.

I didn't really notice what you are referring to, there were definitely some bugs on a few things. The most notorious ones were where a counselor's camera would get stuck during a loot sequence, forever pinning them to those nefarious end tables and dressers until Jason killed them. The other would occur on Jason, he would get stuck on an infinite loop of breaking down a door. The devs expressed very clearly that they were aware of those issues and moved to fix them during / after beta. One even went into great technical detail on why the infinite door-smash bug was occurring, which was pretty cool. (I forget where / when this discussion happened) There hasn't been a 2nd beta, sadly, but I would expect that the post-beta grooming took care of most major concerns.

I know the various Jason's get unique kills, but does Part 6 Jason have a kill where he snaps someone in half? Likewise punching someone's head clean off and into a dumpster should be unique to Part 8 Jason.

Plus the upcoming single player mode. edit: I'd kill for a Jason X map. <3 that pig-mask. Oh and instead of calling in Tommy Jarvis you call in David Chronenberg who has zero attributes and a button dedicated to mocking the other players.
