Grigson forced Pagano to play players that sucked, because he paid them too much and it would look bad if they didn't. He cut a good center because he had signed one to a big deal and didn't like the other guy was outplaying him. Players and Pagano all hated Grigson. He coasted on his first draft, which was really good outside of the obvious Luck pick that included trading up for Hilton. But after that he was really, really bad at drafting and signing and again, everyone hated him.

The funny thing is that it sounds like Grigson is in a player relations position, so you don't worry about him loving up the draft, but he was TERRIBLE at dealing with the players in Indy. They hated him so much that several openly celebrated and mocked him on twitter when he was canned.

What are the responsibilities of that position? Unless he's the lead draft man or has control of the 53 man roster, I don't see what the problem is outside of the fact that he's a giant idiot. The NFL is full of giant idiots.

A national scout jumped ship to Buffalo so they probably gave a fancy title to Grigson. If he actually is in charge of player relations sweet madre dios they only just got back on good terms with retired players let alone active roster.
