That's probably right. I believe The Guardian has to go to print earlier than other papers, I remember some editorial a while ago talking about how they couldn't get the "one small step for man" quote the day after due to it.

Back then they were probably still based in Manchester and had to send all their stuff down to London by train. Which, incidentally, is also a likely contributing factor towards the ubiquitous typesetting fuckups that earned them the "grauniad" sobriquet.

Still, most newspapers go to press between 10 and 11, I think. May came out at around 9.30, so it's possible. If they're smart, they'll change it up for the later editions.
