I'm assuming this was explained at length through some channel that just somehow never got to Moon. If not, lol. THAAD launchers aren't exactly easy to hide: Even moreso when deployed at safe distances from one another instead of crammed into a motorpool.

Why aren't we going after the moron who doesn't know that Saudi Arabia is not a loving democracy? Of course Saudi Arabia isn't a democracy. But accusing Iran of subverting democracy while standing in and praising one of the more authoritarian countries in the world is the height of absurdity, and the administration should be called out for it. Or in other words, "can you tell us how Saudi Arabia is committed to democracy" is a more polite and subtle way of saying "jesus christ how can you peddle this rank hypocrisy and expect us to take it seriously?" e: And the guy giving the State Department response absolutely bungled it, hence humor of the situation. Holy poo poo, that sound terrifying. Did you guys make it out of that ok? I was thankfully living in a large brick house on W College at the time so it was not as much of white knuckle of an experience as I assume you had. Two Finger posted:Are these two posts related? Yeah, DeSoto is a small town about 10 minutes north of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, a lot of students who have cars just get a cheaper place up there since it's not a bad commute at all. Back in 2009 there was an "inland hurricane" much like the Moscow video that hit the region right around graduation and it got crazy. Of course Southern Illinois is not as built up as Moscow so the damage was not as severe.

I had a similarly high score with no prep, and I had a Colombian guy in my basic training flight who literally could not read or write English. He could speak it well enough, and eventually guessed his way to success on the one multiple choice test we took. And even he, presumably, scored above the 31st percentile on the ASVAB. Good to know that the Army maintained its existing standards for its first female infantry soldier.

My brother had to re-test because he blew off he asvab in high school (me too). He's a functional idiot and collected a mid-20s score the first time around, studied for a few weeks to score a 39 or so, not over 40 though, I'd remember that. This was during the boom in 2002 when they'd take anything with a pulse for the Iraq build up. He could have gotten a waiver and done something really dumb, but his re-test got him into commo, where he still did all the dumb guy work. I smoked a huge goddamn joint on my way (30 minute drive) to MEPS in my old beat to gently caress diesel pickup and walked out first in my group with an 80. How we came from the same mother is surprising to even me.
