I want to say he's been instructed not to second guess the president, which is why those idiot gibberings "speak for themselves." On another topic, I'm already prepared to be disappointed by Comey again. He seems venal.

do you think trump has ever in his life apologized to someone with genuine contrition? or taken the blame for anything? all of this mess is just so incredible because it's self-dick punch after self-dick punch when so much of it could have been swept under the rug with some even faux "my bad" presser or statement to the american people. like is his pride really so insurmountable that even with water filling the ship he can't sit down behind a camera after some coaching and look sincere and fake an apology for one second? it's absolutely unreal that even on some level of some kind he doesn't think he's loving up

There is a tiny blurb in the article about it, but I don't know enough to understand it quote:Barrasso said Republicans are discussing a plan, first pitched in a reform bill authored by Sens. Bill Cassidy, R-La., and Susan Collins, R-Maine, that would set up an auto-enrollment system for basic healthcare coverage.

Auto-enrollment would do a lot to improve the exchanges (if it means what I think it does), but it's the opposite of what they've been campaigning on.
