There's a huge queue at the polling station, which I've never seen in my life. I've never voted in this constituency before though so maybe it's normal. I'm used to the FYGM and apathy of elderly Essex.

Done a democracy, gave the old lady across the road a lift so she could vote red too! If anyones curious it was the combo of our local tory MP voting against gay rights and May cutting police numbers that swung her, and I like to think my badgering helped too. Now I'm staring at 90 boring PDFs that need amending before I gently caress off for the afternoon to Get Out The Vote. I'm feeling the hope and it's terrible.

I like doing the thing with the booth and the pencil on the day it feels like proper voting Also I was meant to be on a training day but I got there 15 minutes late because I got the time confused and they won't let me in. So now I can spend the morning getting the vote out for Labour in my marginal constituency!
